EFA Project Space will host "Artists Raising Kids Webinar with Andrew Simonet." We will be screening the webinar live from the gallery, free of charge. This will be an opportunity for artist-parents to meet each other, compare notes, and set some new ideas in motion! Bring your own dinner; beverages and snacks will be served. RSVP by Wednesday, March 9 to meghana@efanyc.org.

Webinar Overview
How can we live as artists while raising children? Led by choreographer Andrew Simonet, this 90-minute webinar looks at the challenges and rewards of parenting as artists. Based on a national survey and a series of in-depth interviews and workshops, we will share principles and tools that helpartist parents thrive. Open to artists with kids and artists thinking about raising kids, the webinar takes a realistic and positive look at the artist parent life. Led by Andrew Simonet, choreographer and father of two, who says: “This is the webinar I wish I had taken years ago.”

This event is in conjunction with The Let Down Reflex, on view from January 30 - March 12, 2016 at EFA Project Space.

About Creative Capital's Professional Development Program
Creative Capital supports innovative and adventurous artists across the country through funding, counsel and career development services. In 2003, Creative Capital launched its Professional Development Program (PDP) to share with a broad community of artists some of the tools and strategies for improved self-sufficiency that were initially developed for its awardees. PDP workshops in business and strategic planning, fundraising, communication, technology tools, and promotion help artists build sustainable practices. Since its founding, PDP has served more than 10,000 artists in more than 500 communities around the country.
