EFA Project Space, launched in September 2008 as a program of The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, is a curator and artist led exhibition platform advancing experimentation and activation in contemporary art. Through invitation, partnership, and open call exhibitions, robust public programming and the SHIFT residency, we embrace critical new voices with a focus on art processes and community engagement.
Project Space represents a wide range of practices and perspectives of New York based communities and international artists addressing pivotal social and cultural ideas. Our exhibitions and programs provide a welcoming gathering space and are free and open to the public.
The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) public charity, dedicated to providing artists across all disciplines with space, tools and a cooperative forum for the development of individual practice. We are a catalyst for cultural growth, stimulating new interactions between artists, art professionals, creative communities, and the public.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
This is Lenapehoking, the Lenape homeland and gathering place for many Indigenous nations and beings. When the unceded earth breaths again, there will be Indigenous lives here, as there are now and have always been. It will still be Lenapehoking. We learn from the bedrock and commit to uplifting, honoring, and listening to those who are seen and unseen, present and future.
This Land Acknowledgement was collaboratively written by Christopher Green and Alan Michelson as part of the 2021 exhibition Speculations on the Infrared.
