For EFA and Eating: Otherness, join us for a 40-min zoom discussion, followed by a Q&A with DK Kinard and Chantel Kemp, co-founders of the Gardens at NYCHA program with GrowNYC. Together, they curate and build green spaces, urban agriculture educational workshops, community centered green programs and more for NYCHA communities. Their work is widespread across the city and for the benefit of all communities, specializing in uplifting education around food justice, environmentalism, fair housing, youth engagement, family initiatives, and more.
