Writing as Ritual: A Curatorial Seminar Lead by Anna Cahn
Saturday, February 17, 1-3 PM
During this special curatorial seminar, Anna Cahn will lead a group discussion and writing workshop that reflects upon the idea of writing as a ritual practice. Guided by the liberatory poetic writing practices of Gloria Anzaldúa and her seminal text, Borderlands La Frontera: The New Mestiza, the seminar will explore writing as a sensuous, spiritual, and politically resistant practice. A selection of texts will be provided to participants in preparation for seminar discussion and creative writing exercises.
