Note: space is limited for the joy hours, so we ask that if you will definitely be attending that you RSVP. This will greatly help us in knowing how much materials and other stuff we need to have on hand.

Collage, Tea & Chocolate
Join us on Saturday, September 16 from 4-6pm for an afternoon of creative collaging and snacks! We will start closing up at 5:45 pm.
Abolitionist joy hour attendees will have the opportunity to make their own collage speaking to their visions of abolitionist futures and liberation and connect with each other in a chill space. We ask participants to envision: what does a world without prisons look like? What inspires us to action? How has resistance looked and could look like, from both inside and outside of the prison? What does liberation feel like?
Collaging supplies will be provided. This joy hours will also feature tea tasting from the Te Company and chocolate treats from the Harlem Chocolate Factory. RSVP via Eventbrite

Button Making and Hot Chocolate
Join us on Saturday, September 30 from 4-6pm for an afternoon of button making and hot chocolate! We will start closing up at 5:45 pm.
Abolitionist joy hour attendees will have the opportunity to make pin buttons! Your button can say anything you want, but radical messaging and drawings are highly encouraged.
Organizer Adriana Warner will be on hand to demonstrate. The ACAB button of your dream is only a button-maker away!

Herbalism and High Tea
Join us on Saturday, October 14 from 4-6pm for an herbalism workshop and high tea! We will start closing up at 5:45 pm.
Abolitionist joy hour attendees will have the opportunity to learn about herbs that calm down the nervous system and make their own herbal packets to take home.
This workshop will be led by abolitionist herbalist Mari Vial-Golden.
This joy hour will also feature a high tea spread with delicious teas, scones, and cookies from Alice's Tea Cup. RSVP via Eventbrite
